Angelo Riccobene's Story
“A legend in the insurance industry.”
Angelo began his insurance career working as a Claims Examiner at Prudential Assurance Company in 1981. He then spent the last 35 years of his career at AIG, with his last role being Regional Head, Commercial Property Claims.
Angelo was well known and respected in the insurance community. Over the years, he made many close business relationships that resulted in life-long friendships. He was well respected and loved by all those who had the pleasure of working with him. He brought a depth of knowledge and experience to the industry. He was an incredible mentor to all, and he always took the time to help with no matter what was needed.
Angelo was a devoted husband, father, son and brother who loved his family. He was a strong supporter of community and giving back. Proceeds raised from this tournament will be used to make a difference in our local communities. This tournament is only possible with the generous support of colleagues, sponsors, volunteers and participants. We are grateful to everyone involved in keeping Angelo’s memory alive.
On May 27, 2021, after a three-month battle, Angelo passed away, leaving a huge void in the hearts of his family, friends, colleagues and anyone who was lucky enough to have met him.
Angelo made the world a greater place with love and kindness. He was one of a kind and will be forever missed.
